Aaliyah Harris is a senior at Texas State University pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Psychology. She currently serves as the Chapter Life Vice President of the Delta Psi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta. After graduating, she plans to apply to graduate school to get her masters in Psychology and later get her PhD in clinical or child psychology. Her research interests focus on how parental/familial substance use and mental health challenges influence children’s emotional, psychological, and behavioral development. Her research aims to identify protective factors and early interventions that can help reduce the negative effects of these experiences and promote resilience in children.

In her free time, Aaliyah loves to travel and try new restaurants with her friends!
