Julia Penn is a graduate student in the Psychological Research program at Texas State University. Prior to Texas State, Julia graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Her research interests are focused on the etiology, phenomenology, and treatment of borderline personality disorder. Julia most recently worked at the 3East DBT Continuum, a continuum of programs for young women with emerging borderline personality disorder and high-risk behaviors, at McLean Hospital.

Julia enjoys spending time with her family and Labrador retriever Henry. She also likes to exercise and be outdoors.
