Madison Risner is a second-year graduate student in the Master of Arts in Psychological Research program at Texas State University. In the context of the PRISM lab, she hopes to help advance suicide research by exploring potential predispositions to heightened suicide risk, as well as early intervention options for different populations.
Upon completion of her master’s degree, Madison hopes to obtain her PhD in Clinical Psychology, with a research focus on psychopathology, trauma, and neuroscience.
When Madison is not doing research, she enjoys being active, exploring trails/outdoors, and spending time with family.
