Nyx Schexnayder is a senior pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a double minor in Biology and History. They are the 2026-2027 Vice President of Texas State’s Psi Chi chapter. After graduating, they plan to go to graduate school, with the end goal of a PhD in Clinical Adolescent Psychology. Their research interests include autism, child development and psychopathology, suicide, neurodevelopmental disorders, and social cognition.

Outside of school, Nyx enjoys crocheting, reading, and befriending every cat they see.
