Taylur Loera is a first-year graduate student in the Master of Arts in Psychological Research program at Texas State University. Taylur previously graduated from Texas A&M University - San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Her research interests focus primarily on substance use, disordered eating, and suicide. Taylur is committed to improving health outcomes in underrepresented communities.

After graduate school, Taylur plans to obtain a PhD in Clinical Psychology, with the intention to integrate research, clinical practice, and teaching.

In her free time, Taylur enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors.
